MGC Anti-Plugging Screen
The MGC (Multi-Grade Combined) anti-plugging screen is an innovative sand control device that has been widely used in wells with sand plugging challenges. The unique design uses a wire-wrap screen as the supporting layer between perforated base pipe and metal mesh screens, which greatly enhances longitudinal flows between base pipe and filter media.
Due to the enhanced longitudinal 'flush', sand bridges formed on the filter screens could be removed easily, the 'self-cleaning' feature minimizes the possibility of sand plugging. Meanwhile, the wire-wrap screen could act as an high-strength filter media, ensuring a reliable sand control effect. The superior anti-plugging performance has been proved both in lab tests and in field applications in various areas.
The protective shroud is made of high-quality stainless steel which is resistant to deforming, bending and corrosions. A bridge type or perforated shroud could be selected as the protective cover per customers' demand.
